Initially listed as missing in action, non-recoverable or unidentifiable, PFC De La Rosa's remains were later recovered and identified. He is interred at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in California. PFC De La Rosa's name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial.
