Notes
Corporal Ferrell was a member of Battery A, 503rd Field Artillery Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in South Korea on February 12, 1951. He was presumed dead on January 7, 1954. His remains were recovered on May 13, 1992 and identified on November 7, 2007. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
