Private First Class Jennings was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on April 25, 1951. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. PFC Jennings' remains have been recovered and identified. His permanently name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
