Notes
Corporal King was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy near Kunu-ri, North Korea on November 30, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were recovered on October 16, 2000 and identified on December 11, 2009. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
