Sergeant First Class Musgray was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action when his company was overrun by the enemy northeast of Seoul, South Korea on April 23, 1951. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were recovered on July 5, 1951 and identified on December 18, 2010. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
