Initially listed as missing in action, non-recoverable or unidentifiable, PFC Schue's remains were later recovered and identified. His remains were returned to Pennsylvania for interment at a private cemetery. PFC Schue's name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial at St. Avold (Moselle), France.
