Corporal Ivey was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 187th Airborne Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 29, 1950. Corporal Ivey remains were recovered and then identified in 2015. His name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial, National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. |
