Private Rideau was a member of Battery C, 76th Anti-Aircraft Artillery (Automatic Weapons) Battalion, U.S. Army. He was severely injured when his truck overturned down a 100 foot embankment and taken to the 25th Evacuation Hospital where he died on November 14, 1951. |
