During the Korean War Aviation Electronics Man Third Class Stoddard served with the U.S. Navy in Greenland until July, 1953. In September he was enroute from Greenland to Puerto Rico for a new assignment. His plane left Quanset Point, Rhode Island and crashed at Bermuda. |
