Private First Class Cloe was a member of Company C, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was listed as Missing in Action after he was last seen behind enemy lines near Sudong, North Korea during the Chosin Reservoir Campaign on November 3, 1950. He was presumed dead on October 21, 1953. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
