Interactives

The Meuse-Argonne Offensive of World War I is one of America’s most significant battles in terms of both men and equipment engaged, and in the number of dead and wounded.

Pilots battled air-to-air to gain control of the sky. While the United States did not officially enter the war until nearly three years after it began, the “Flying Yanks” of World War I were into the fight well before that.

Use this battle interactive to follow the paths of American forces as they fought alongside their Allies to liberate Belgium and northeastern France during World War I.
