Video Transcript:

NARRATOR: December 16th, 1944: The German army is about to begin an offensive that will start a battle like no other. The goal, to cut a hole in the Allied lines forcing peace negotiations. It's been nearly 70 years since the Battle of the Bulge.

LUXEMBOURG PRIME MINISTER: We should be proud of the peace we have....what seems to be normal for all of us has to be realized every day. We have to fight for freedom. We have to fight for liberties. We have to fight for rights.

NARRATOR: This ceremony at Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial is to honor those who served in World War II, but never made it home.

LUXEMBOURG PRIME MINISTER: Thank you in the name of our government, of our country. For the sacrifices of young Americans.

NARRATOR: It's the final resting place of more than 5,000 Americans, including General George S. Patton.

LUXEMBOURG PRIME MINISTER: I don't want to know how our country would be, how our liberties would be, how our civil rights would be if these young people wouldn't have been to our country and to fight for someone, they don't know who it was and so we should never forget what they did for us. Thank You.

NARRATOR: From Luxembourg I'm Air Force Staff Sergeant Jason Bailey, AFN News.
