Dedication of Renovated Visitor Center at Flanders Field American Cemetery

To coincide with the 100th anniversary of the United States entering World War I, Flanders Field American Cemetery hosted a ceremony on April 6, 2017 to dedicate the renovated visitor center. During the event Chargé d’Affaires Matthew Lussenhop delivered remark as did ABMC Deputy Secretary for Overseas Operations John Wessels and Mayor of Waregem Kurt Vanryckeghem. The three gentlemen cut the ribbon to dedicate the renovated building, and then guests were invited inside to tour the building, and watch the film "Flanders Field: Remembering Their Sacrifice."
