Captain Fuson was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 17, 1950 and evacuated to the US on September 20, 1950. He died of those wounds on June 14, 1951.
