Notes
Corporal Heansel was a member of an Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion assigned to Fort Totten, New York. On October 8, 1951, he was enroute from Fort Totten to a new duty station in Oklahoma, when his automobile was in an accident near Palatine Bridge, New York killing him.
