USMA Class of 1945, Captain Scurr was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of the 5th Light Aviation Section, U.S. Army. Later he was assigned to the Army Aviation Section, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. On August 25, 1954, he was killed in a Helicopter crash.
