Notes
Colonel Driscoll was a decorated veteran of World War II serving as a Battalion Commander with the 16th Infantry Regiment during the landings at "Omaha Beach". During the Korean War, he was the U.S. Army Attache at Baghdad, Iraq where he died of poliomyelitis on June 7, 1952.
