Aviation Ordnanceman Second Class Dominquez served with Fighter Squadron 51, aboard the aircraft carrier USS VALLEY FORGE (CV-45). On September 12, 1950, while loading the guns of a F9F-5 Panther Jet fighter there was an explosion killing him.
