Notes
Private First Class Farnsworth had served with Headquarters Company, 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment in Korea. He was seriously wounded in South Korea on March 24, 1951 and evacuated to the United States for treatment on July 5, 1951. After recovery he was assigned to Camp Kilmer, New Jersey awaiting discharge. On January 9, 1953 he was killed as a result of an automobile accident.
