Private First Class Neddo was a member of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, serving in Germany. He received a serious injury on August 13, 1951 and was evacuated to the 15th Evacuation Hospital in Nuremberg, Germany where he died on August 20, 1951.
