Corporal Robinson was awarded the Asia-Pacific Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the Occupation Medal (Asia) and the National Defense Service Medal.
Corporal Robinson was a veteran of World War II. During the Korean War, he was a member of Headquarters Battery, 40th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Brigade, serving in Japan. He was taken ill and evacuated to the 1134th Army Hospital in Waltham, Massachusetts. He died following surgery.
