The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. local time and is expected to last approximately one hour. \nThe ceremony is in remembrance of the American and Allied service members who landed on the Normandy shores June 6\, 1944\, and fought to liberate Europe and sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom. \nThe event is free and open to the public.
