To mark the 69th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy, Brittany American Cemetery hosted a ceremony on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. This ceremony included a wreath-laying and guest speakers. At 2:30 p.m. that same day, in the nearby area of Mont Saint Michel, there was a multinational airborne drop along the lowland shore of the bay.
