Epinal American Cemetery hosted a ceremony to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the D-Day landings on June 6, 2015. Nearly 200 locals attended this ceremony, including a French couple, who were both veterans of Normandy. The woman fought with the French Forces of the Interior, also know was the French Resistance, and he fought with the 2nd French Armored Division under Gen. Leclerc. Both received the French Legion of Honor.
