DESCRIPTION:Join ABMC’s team at Brookwood American Cemetery to learn more about the Medal of Honor’s history\, its usage throughout time\, and the stories of some of its recipients commemorated here.\nLed by our interpretive guide\, these talks are a unique opportunity to pay tribute to these courageous individuals—including Medal of Honor recipients Gunner’s Mate 1st Cl. This day was chosen as it was the day that the first Medals of Honor were presented to six members of Andrews’ Raiders. You will hear more about the history of National Medal of Honor Day at the talks.
