The 2013 Memorial Day Ceremony at Netherlands American Cemetery honored the sacrifices of the more than 9,000 individuals that are buried or memorialized at this site. Ceremony highlights included:

• Performances by U.S. and Netherlands military bands, and a Dutch men’s choir
• Guest speaker ABMC Commissioner Maura Sullivan
• Invocation and benediction
• Wreath-laying
• Flyover
• Firing detail followed by “Taps”
