The 2013 Veterans Day Ceremony at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Belgium included guest remarks, a wreath-laying, a 21-gun salute, the playing of “Taps” and the national anthem, and the reading of the Presidential Veterans Day Proclamation.

Participants in the ceremony included United States Air Force AWACS 470^th Air Base Squadron, Geilenkirchen, Germany; United States Air Force Command, Bitburg, Germany; and US Naval Medical Reservists’ Wounded Warrior’s Program, Landstuhl, Germany.

This ceremony honored the sacrifices of the nearly 8,500 individuals that are buried or memorialized at this site.
