Veterans Day 2015 at Ardennes American Cemetery

Ardennes American Cemetery hosted its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2105. Organized by the U.S. Coast Guard Detachment in the Netherlands, Lt. Cmdr. Jen Runion delivered remarks during the ceremony, which also including a wreath laying, a moment of silence, reading of the President’s Veterans Day Proclamation, and singing of the national anthem. After the ceremony, the group proceeded to the gravesite of Apprentice Seaman Woodrow Elaman, where Runion told his story.
