Ten World War II veterans paid a special visit to Sicily-Rome American Cemetery on May 3, 2015. They included Edwin Bach (age 94), Robert Bedford (age 96), Thomas Bristow (age 87), Andrew Dunavant (age 90), Benjamin Hodges (age 92), Andrew Poteete (age 90), Jack Taylor (age 90), Ernest W. Spencer, Jr. (age 94), James Weaver (ag 94), and Garrett Jephtha Williamson (age 96). These men served throughout Europe at the front lines. They lost friends. And they helped bring the war in Europe to an end in May 1945.
