Private Stetar was a member of the 398th Engineer Construction Battalion at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri training for duty in Korea. He was riding in a 3/4 ton truck on a dusty road when the truck swerved throwing him to the ground. The driver of the truck following could not see him and drove over him. He died at the post hospital on August 10, 1952. |
