Sergeant Sansouci was a veteran of World War II, serving in the pacific. During the Korean War, he was assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia. On September 1, 1950, after a minor accident near Columbus, Georgia, he was talking to a police officer, when a car approached them. He pushed the officer to safety, but was struck and killed by the car. |
