Staff Sergeant McNeill was the tail gunner on a B-26B Invader bomber with the 13th Bomber Squadron, 3rd Bomber Wing. On July 28, 1950, while attacking a column of enemy tanks near Change Jug, South Korea, his aircraft crashed into a mountain. His remains were recovered. |
