Retired Maj. Gen. Valenzuela delivers remarks from the podium.

Retired Maj. Gen. Valenzuela delivered the keynote address at the 2015 Memorial Day Ceremony at Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery. Valenzuela is a U.S. World War I Centennial Commissioner appointed by the president. One of the commission’s goals is to educate American youth about the importance of World War I in terms of our American history. World War I is often thought of as a forgotten war.
