ABMC to honor 79th Anniversary of D-Day landings at Normandy American Cemetery

Published May 16, 2023

ABMC will honor the 79th Anniversary of D-Day landings through a commemorative ceremony at Normandy American Cemetery, France, June 6, 2023, at 11 a.m., local time.

The ceremony is in remembrance of the American and Allied service members who landed on the Normandy shores June 6, 1944, and fought to liberate Europe and sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom.

This year, ABMC not only remembers the service, achievements and sacrifice of U.S. Armed Forces during World War II and the D-Day landings. We also commemorate a hundred years of existence, affirming our determination to continue to fulfill its unbroken promise to this nation, her fallen and their families by honoring the overseas.
