COVID-19 update: what you need to know to visit Normandy American Cemetery

(last updated: Nov. 12, 2021)
Visitors who plan to visit Normandy American Cemetery should be advised of the following guidelines:

  • At this time, a Health Pass (Pass Sanitaire) or U.S. Vaccination Card is only required to access the Visitor Center, which has just reopened to the public.
  • The last admission to the Visitor Center is 4:45 p.m.
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory in all indoor spaces (Visitor Center, public restroom) and for those visitors that join a guided tour of the cemetery; it is recommended outdoors, especially when social distancing is not possible.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are available on site in various locations.

Welcoming visitors in the safest way possible, and which ensures the health and safety of our staff and visitors, is of the utmost importance. We continue, therefore, to provide visitor services in full compliance with the latest French Government direction.
