Secretary Cleland Shares Details with President Obama on Vietnam Battle Maps

ABMC Secretary Max Cleland and President Barack Obama in the Oval Office on February 21, 2012. Secretary Cleland shared details on the development of Vietnam Battle Maps that will be placed at ABMC’s Honolulu Memorial located within the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii. The maps, which will be dedicated on Veterans’ Day 2012, will complete the memorial’s commemoration of America’s participation in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Nearly 29,000 Americans are honored within the memorial’s Courts of the Missing.
