Tour de France to Make Travel to Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery Challenging on July 2

Published June 15, 2017

On July 2, 2017 the second stage of the Tour de France will be in Belgium and cyclists will pass through the town of Henri-Chapelle causing access problems to Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery. The road N3 (“Nationale 3”) will be blocked from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. As one of the main access roads to the cemetery, the detour that day can add up to two hours of extra driving time. If you plan on coming to the cemetery that day, contact staff directly for recommendations.
