The U.S. Air Force will conduct a flyover and the Royal British Legion will lay a wreath at Cambridge American Cemetery (CAAC) on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, in honor of the 10 crewmembers of the B-17 Flying Fortress nicknamed “Mi Amigo."

In December 1944, the German Army launched its last major offensive of World War II—often referred to as the Battle of the Bulge. Approximately 19,000 Americans died during the counteroffensive.

On January 22, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. there will be a ceremony at Sicily-Rome American Cemetery in memory of the service members who died during the Allied landings at Anzio and Nettuno. Events this day also will include the illumination of over 7,800 graves.
