Private First Class Wilmoth was a Light Weapons Infantryman with Company G, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while clearing an enemy minefield about 10 miles northwest of Ansan, South Korea on February 3, 1951.
