Notes

Charles T. Connell was born in Ireland in 1869. He immigrated to the United States and became a naturalized citizen. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Seaman aboard the cruiser USS Denver (C-14). He died while on active duty on May 15, 1895 and was buried at Flamenco Island. He was reinterred at the Ancon cemetery in 1911. In 1914, he was disinterred, cremated and buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
