Initially among those listed as missing in action, non-recoverable or unidentifiable, 2LT Allred's remains were recovered and identified. In 1983, he was permanently interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Honolulu, HI. 2LT Allred's name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial.
