Charles Harry Alme (alias C. H. Johnson) was born in Superior, Wisconsin on February 13, 1911. He moved to the Canal Zone to work as a truck driver for the Panama Canal Company. He died on January 31, 1942. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
