Charles O. Cook was born in British Guiana on October 17, 1892. He immigrated to the United States and became a naturalized citizen. He moved to Panama to work as a foreman for the Panama Canal Company. He died on July 6, 1941 and was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
