2nd Lt. Friedlander was initially listed as Missing in Action with Dec. 19, 1945 as the Administrative Date of Death. Following the war his remains were recovered and he was buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Ore. His name is permanently engraved on the Walls of the Missing at Manila American Cemetery.
