Getting There

The Lafayette Escadrille Memorial Cemetery is located in Marnes-la-Coquette in the northwestern corner of the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, a large park, about 12 miles west of the center of Paris.

Admission and Hours

Business Hours

  • 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free guided tours of the crypt are available daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., upon request, at the Visitor Center or by reservation. The opening hours of the Domaine de Saint-Cloud, where the monument is located, are as follows:
    – 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from November through February.
    – 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during September, October, March, and April.
    – 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from May through August.

  • The Visitor Center is open to the public daily including host country holidays, except for December 25 and January 1. The monument is open daily, depending on the hours of the Domaine de Saint-Cloud. For up-to-date status of the Domaine de Saint-Cloud, visit website https://www.domaine-saint-cloud.fr/

  • Admission is FREE and does not requier booking in advance. The crypt is only accessible with a guide. We ask that visitors wishing to enter the crypt notify the cemetery and book in advance of their planned visit.
