Corporal Andrews was a decorated veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Majori, South Korea on January 14, 1951. Ray had been in Korea for only 20 days.
