Lance Corporal Biscailuz was a member of the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 164, Marine Air Group 36, 1st Marine Air Wing. On July 30, 1967, he was a gunner in a Boeing Sea Knight Cargo Helicopter (CH-46A) flying over Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam, when it caught fire and crashed as it approached the landing zone under hostile fire. His remains were recovered on August 3, 1992 and identified on June 3, 1993. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
