Private First Class Blazejewski was a medic with the Medical Company, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was Killed in Action while tending his wounded comrades near Unsan, North Korea on November 1, 1950. His remains were recovered on August 4, 1997 and identified on February 7, 2006. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
