Notes
Major General Crumm was a member of Headquarters, 3rd Air Division. On July 7, 1967, he was a member of the crew of a Boeing Stratofortress Bomber (B-52D) 20 miles offshore over the South China Sea, when it collided with another B-52D bomber. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
