Notes
Private First Class Galberth was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was wounded and taken Prisoner of War while defending his position on Hill 1051 in South Korea on May 18, 1951. He was taken to Camp #5 near Pyoktong, North Korea and died while a prisoner on November 1, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
